KATE CRAWFORD, LPC
Kate Crawford, LPC, acquired her professional counseling license in 2017*. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy & Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2014. Preceding her master’s, she earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Mississippi State University. She has completed Level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Kate has previously worked in the community mental health setting, in a university counseling department,
and in a private practice group.
Wanting to take a more client-focused approach to treatment, Kate founded KMC Counseling in 2022. KMC Counseling provides a direct line of communication between the therapist and the client, ensuring the best possible connection throughout the treatment process.
Kate values spending time with her family, friends, and fur babies. She seeks to follow Christ and feels called to walk alongside those who are suffering, saying “I dealt with my own emotional struggles in the past and that's when I had my first experience with therapy. I feel led to help others who are struggling with emotional and life issues.“
Her favorite Bible verse is John 16:33:
“In the world, you will have tribulation.
But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
